What are your rates and is there a minimum charge?

Please refer to the pricing tab for details of our rates.

What about materials?

All prices exclude materials. We are happy to supply the materials needed for most jobs and these will be charged separately.

What about parking charges?

We encourage customers to supply permits, as we pass on incurred parking charges.

What areas do you cover?

Please refer to our Service Area section at the bottom of any page.

Will your handymen have the right tools with them?

Yes. Our handymen carry a full range of tools to be able to deal with a wide number of different jobs.

Do you do free estimates?

Yes, we provide free of charge estimates, over the phone or via email, txt message or social media. If on arrival, if the handyman thinks the job will take longer than expected, you will be left to decide whether you want to proceed. Under some circumstances and depending how large the project, we would make a separate visit to give you an estimate free of charge.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry £2m public liability insurance.

How quickly can you come and fix it for me?

For emergency repairs we can fix it for you within 24-48 hours.

Do you work weekends and evenings?

Yes, but a special rate of £33/h & £48 1st hr (Band 1) and £48/h & £63 1st hr (Band 2) applies after 6pm Mon – Fri and all day Saturday & Sunday.

Do you have Gas Safe Engineers?

No, we are not Gas Safe registered.

Do you have accredited Electricians?

No, our electrical work is limited to replacement work.

Are your handymen reliable?

Our reputation is our business so our handymen are vetted very carefully for the relevant qualifications and experience. We aim to recruit only professional, polite, well presented, friendly personnel with excellent customer service skills. Our team is highly reliable, a fact supported by our excellent customer satisfaction feedback.

Will your handyman keep me waiting?

No, we give a specific one hour appointment at your convenience. We will let you know immediately in the rare event that we cannot honour our commitment.

Can you do large projects?

We prefer small and medium size projects and as such we currently don’t take on large projects, this may be something we change in the future.
